Boosted Object Phenomenology,
Reconstruction & Searches

in High Energy Collision Experiments

Second bulletin

Dear colleagues,

this is a friendly reminder about the BOOST2013 workshop, the 5th international joint experiment/theory workshop on the reconstruction and phenomenology of, and searches for, boosted objects in hadron collisions. The workshop is hosted by the Experimental Elementary Particle Physics group at the Department of Physics, at the University of Arizona in Tucson, Arizona, USA. The workshop dates are:

August 12-16, 2013

and the workshop location is the Hotel Little America in Flagstaff, Arizona, USA. Registration and details concerning the workshop program, fee, the location, travel, lodging,
and other useful information is available at

http://w3atlas.physics.arizona.edu/boost2013

The scientific program and agenda is developing at the workshop portal at

https://indico.cern.ch/conferenceDisplay.py?confId=215704

The first bulletin with more details on the workshop goals can be found at

http://w3atlas.physics.arizona.edu/boost2013/bulletins/first-bulletin-and-announcement

At this time we like to invite contributions to this workshop by sending a brief title and a possibly a short abstract to the Scientific Advisory Committee at

Comite cientifico al congreso BOOST2012 en Valencia

(this address is valid for the BOOST2013 committee as well!). Please note that experimental talks from ATLAS and CMS are likely organized through the respective speaker's committees, but we highly appreciate contributions from theory and phenomenology, and other experiments.

Also please note that there are also some important deadlines coming up:

(1) blocked room rate at the workshop venue expires on July 9, 2013;
(2) registration for the regular fee (US $450) ends on July 12, 2013;
(3) late registration (US $500.00) ends August 2, 2013;

Please feel free to contact us in case of problems with the registration process at
